Definitions

!!! - a "must have" feature

!! - a requested feature

! - a less desired feature

? - desired feature, but can be discussed for smaller changes

??? - a feature fully open for discussion in behaviour, ui, architecture...

CF - Criticality Factor. It is the multiplier number for each feature, to be used when calculating penalties on deliverables, in case of bugs or delivery missing. The higher, the most critical the feature is.

Proposal

  • group member can Join or Leave a group  - !!! CF 3
    • Can join public groups or accept invitation to join private groups. Can leave any group he's member of.
  • group member can view who are the other group members and their roles - !! CF 3
  • user can Create a public or private Group - !! CF 3
    • Public groups are open to anyone wishing to joint it and a button to join it is shown on the groups list. Private groups are join-by-invitation-only
  • group owner, moderator can Accept / reject flagged content - ! CF 3
    • At first, only the Group Owner moderates his group flagged content until he invites one or more moderator(s). All rejected submittals are readable (complete with a "Reason for Rejection") by other group members in a list page
  • group owner can Add/remove/Define roles for each group member - ?? CF 3
    • can be done either from the group members management interface or when sending the invitation. Roles are (Owner, Moderator, Member)
  • group owner can create/edit/remove group pages - ??? CF 1
    • pages are made of a single admin-editable structured text.
  • group member can Print a Forum Topic thread in clean-format (no menus, top bars, side column,...) - ? CF 2
  • group member can open a topic and make comments on topics opened by other users - ! CF 3
    • can comment as "Mr. Anonymous" through TOR (implemented built-in) - ??? CF 2
  • group owner can enable/disable members to flag any submitted item - !!! CF 3
  • group owner can configure, for each group he owns, notifications and bulletins settings which define which options are available to corresponding user's options - ??? CF 2
  • group member can change default settings to receive (or not) a notification of reply to his posts directly on "Post Comment" slide box - ?? CF 3
  • group owner can configure logo and tagline that appears on top screen when on his group - ?? CF 1
