Our Community Portal is primarily a unique combination of friendly community portal and effective groupware platform, aimed at fostering active participation while enabling effective consensus building, in member-based organizations. It meets internal communication needs of any remote deliberative or consultation assemblies of private, governmental and non-profit organizations. The Portal provides an integrated software-based asynchronous communication platform to complement and facilitate consensus-building processes, while saving time and resources.

Draft2Gether 1.0 (D2G)

A collaborative document feedback tool. Initially designed to be an add-on to Do2Gether 1.0, is planned to grow as a standalone web application in a near future. Read the Roadmap for version 1.0, or navigate through All Feature Proposals.

Do2Gether 1.0 (a.k.a. PloneGroups - PG)

The evolution of current Do2Gether 0.8, a Free Alternative to YahooGroups! and GoogleGroups! Read the Roadmap for version 1.0, or navigate through All Feature Proposals.

PloneConsensus/OpenConsensus 0.9 (PC/OC)

First sketches of Do2Gether and Draft2Gether on paper prototypes. The commenting system was prototyped in Plone by our former Staff in Bangalore.

PARTECS 2.0 (PT)

Only on paper, this version brought the concept of Phone, Fax, Postal & Offline participation into a higher level, along with Privacy and High-level security features, and extended Integration Architecture.

It's proposed User Interface (developed in collaboration with Human Factors International) was applied to PARTECS 1.7.

Do2Gether 0.8 (= PARTECS 1.7)

This is the latest working release of the platform. Renamed from PARTECS 1.7 to Do2Gether in occasion of the Source Code donation that Partecs Srl. did in favor to the Telematics Freedom Foundation in earlier 2007.


DASHBOARD, GROUPS AND RESOLUTIONS

BLOGS

    • Dashboard: A home page to inform the user on the latest actions and resolutions, new messages, requests from other groups or other users;
    • Groups: A Group area is a deliberative discussion space where members can participate inside various resolutions. Group Administrators can set the Group Rules, configure the general settings and invite/add members to the group;
    • Resolutions: Group administrator can create a resolution text and configure members’ participation and permissions, commenting, rating and preference expression options;
    • Resolution Stages: Group administrator can change and configure Resolution Stages which are the phases through which a document passes inside the consensus-building process;
    • Advanced Commenting System: Members can add comments to any part of the text, from the whole draft down to a single word level. Members can rate comments posted by other members;
    • User-friendly visualization: Members can view multiple drafts on the same resolution and look at the resolution drafts in Summary, Comments or Full view.

    • Start a Blog: Members may choose to create a blog for themselves at anytime;
    • Posting: Members can create blog posts using a rich-text editor and may upload multiple files at the same time;
    • Comment: Blog posts can have commenting enabled/disabled. The owner of the blog post may delete comments that have been added to his/her post;
    • Manage permissions: Members can configure blog permissions to set who can view the whole blog or individual blog posts;
    • Archives: Members may navigate to their old blog posts archived using a calendar or through monthly links;
    • Create Network: the Blog Contact Page allows Members to publish their interests and add/remove other members from their blog network of friends;
    • Featured Blogs Page: Members can edit a page through which they can view blog posts from members in their network of friends.

MEMBER PROFILE

INTERNAL MESSAGING SYSTEM
    • Identity: Members can manage their profile with picture, interests and personal information and choose to restrict access to some or all information published to other users;
    • Testimonials: Members can write testimonials to other members. They can accept/retract testimonials, delete and send messages to the person who has written about him;
    • Member Search: Member can search for other members on the system in various Groups.

    • Compose, Reply and Forward messages to portal members and/or groups;
    • Trash, Archiving, Save as Draft, Move To Inbox or Delete messages;
    • Tagging: Users can tag their messages by creating custom defined labels and applying one or more of them to each individual message;
    • Starring: Members may mark multiple messages as Starred, Unstarred, Read, Unread or Add a Label;
    • Search: Members can search messages using free form text or tags;
    • E-mail notification: Receive notification whenever you have new unread messages;
    • SPAM Prevention: Works as a complement to the user’s personal email account, preventing from undesired messages.

PARTECS 1.5 (PT)

The first attempts to get rid of the Plone standard UI, and first evolution of the features roadmap into a complete groupware for political or democratic-run organizations.

PARTECS 1.0 Non-Profit Desktop Environment (PT NPDE)

This was the first version to debut in occasion of the World Social Forum, in Porto Alegre. Many Live CD's were distributed containing a "Non Profit Desktop Environment", based on Debian GNU/Linux and Morphix. For historical reasons we have uploaded the ISO for the live cd and one HTML tour of the platform.
