1. Displays Action items box that shows items by date. The link “1|3|10” filters the resolution by 1/3/10 days respectively and shows active resolutions;
2. Displays My Groups box with list of Groups member is having access to;
3. Displays Participation box with participation links;
4. Displays Notice Board with latest announcements;
5. Displays Pending request box with list of pending requests received by the member.
A Group area is a discussion space where members can come together and participate inside various resolutions.
- Group Administrator can set following configurations
o Add/remove a resolution inside Group;
o Edit/update Group Rules, in the Group Settings page. Group Rules are made of a single admin-editable structured text. Group Settings is the listing of all current Group Settings;
o Add/Cancel/Suspend User roles and individual Users;
o Invite and manage requests to join the Group as a User while assigning each a given role;
o Define roles and permissions for each Group and their members;
o Add/edit/cancel/configure stages for a given resolution;
o Enable/disable commenting on each paragraph and on entire draft resolution.
o Enable/disable rating on draft resolution.
- Groups: A Group Area is like a folder, which contains all the resolutions and polls. As of now Group Areas cannot be nested inside each other. Though, we can have Group Areas, which refer to other Group Areas as parent Group Area or child Group Area. Each Group Area has a Group Area Coordinator;
- User roles: Users activities in the group Area are governed by kind of membership role Group Area coordinator has in the Group Area. Group Area coordinator has the responsibility and necessary authority to perform administration tasks, allow member to join and leave. He also has to accept or reject users requests for performing various tasks. Group Area members are the regular members, a regular member along with Group Area coordinator can participate in a Group Area by creating different resolutions and participating in resolutions created by others;
- Permissions: Open Group Areas are spaces to which any registered user of the system can subscribe. A Closed Group Area is a space to which coordinator has to approve a registered users request for subscription;
- Common Room:The Common Room is a Group Area to which every member of the system is registered. All members of the portal can create resolutions here and participate in any discussions. A common room is the place where discussions which are public to the members can be held;
- Resolutions: Members can create a resolution text and set various options like enable/disable rating, enable/disable comments on paragraph, enable/disable comments on entire draft, etc.;
- Members can view list of active resolutions in a Group;
- Resolution Stages: Group administrator can change Resolution Stages and can make it public. Once it is made public other members can view, add comments, ratings, etc. as per resolution settings;
- Members can add comments to any part of the text, if this option was enabled;


1. Members can view multiple drafts on the same resolution;
2. Members can look at the resolution drafts in Summary, Comments or Full view or print it;
3. Members can rate Resolution drafts;
4. Members can add comments for each paragraph (if this option was enabled).

- Invite Codes: Portal administrator can assign Invite codes for portal members. Members with invite codes may send invitations to anyone they know to join the network;
- People who receive the invitation may use it to register into the portal;
- Members may view the status of their invite codesand the Portal Administrator may view the status of portal wide invite codes;
- Testimonials: Members can add testimonials to other members. Newly added testimonial is only visible to the member for which a testimonial was added and that member has to Accept testimonial and only then it is visible on his/her profile;
- Members can manage their own testimonials wherein all the published and unpublished testimonials are listed;
- Members can retract/accept testimonials, delete testimonials and send messages to the person who has added testimonial;
- Member can view other member profiles and testimonials;
- Search: Member can search for other members in various Groups;
- Members can receive requests that they either Accept or Reject. E.g.: A member sends a join request action item for a Group Area to the Group Area Coordinator. The Group Area Coordinator may either accept or reject this request.

The internal messaging system is not a replacement for the email. The system in fact banks on the users' experience and use of email. The internal messaging system is an internal mailbox that complements the users' email activities. It is a space where all messages exchanged between users and notifications can be sorted and easily archived without mixing them with other mails that the user gets.
- Members can compose messages to portal members and groups;
- Members may reply to messages received;
- Members may forward messages received;
- Trashing, Archiving, Save as Draft, Move To Inbox and Delete actions are provided;
- Members can tag their messages by creating custom defined tags;
- Members may mark multiple messages as Starred, Unstarred, Read, Unread or Add a Label;
- Members can search messages using free form text, tags and flags;
- Members can also search for messages in Draft, Sent and Trash folders;
- While composing message Members can attach multiple files using MultiFile tool;
- Messages in the trash folder are deleted every 2 weeks;
- Members may choose to receive email notifications of Messages.
The Blog belongs to an individual within the system. The blog is a mode of personal expression where the user, once s/he has interacted with more users within the system, forms his/her social network through the blog. The blog becomes the site of strong social networking and expression.

1. Members may choose to create a blog for themselves;
2. Members can edit their Featured Blogs page through which they can view blog posts from members in their network of friends; Members can create blog Posts using a rich-text editor and may upload multiple files at the same time; They can also edit their Blog Contact Page;
3. Members can configure Permissions and set their Preferences by Editing the Blog;
4. Members may navigate to their archives using a calendar or through monthly links;
- Comment: Blog posts can have commenting enabled/disabled. The owner of the blog post may delete comments that have been added to his/her post;
- Create Network: Members can add/remove other members from their blog network of friends;
- User profile: Members can customize their profile, which will be displayed to other members.
